Careguide

Careguide

Our responsibility starts right from the collection’s design phase. When selecting the fabrics, we strive to use GOTS and FSC-certified qualities.

Our collections have been designed in collaboration with modern garment manufacturers in Portugal, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and India. With over 90% of the collections produced in Europe, we also try to keep it as close to home to save emissions.

By designing modern and timeless styles made from high-quality materials, we believe that the item can be worn year after year. When no longer needed or useful pass it on to someone in
need or recycle.

Explore our guide to learn more about each material: how it’s made, and how to ensure you can wear your clothing as long
as possible.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural fiber that’s kind to the skin, comfortable to wear, and that has moisture-absorbing properties. It is durable, breathable, and easy to care for.

Around 80% of our sweatshirts & tees are made of GOTS certified organic cotton. GOTS is the leading textile processing standard for organic fibers worldwide, including environmental and social criteria, supported by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

Always check the instructions on the care label first. If the garment is washable, use a delicate machine wash on 30 degrees and wash with similar colors. Avoid tumble drying as it risks damaging
the fabric.

Cashmere

One of the rarest natural fibers in the world: cashmere is fine, lightsome, soft and warm. Cashmere is the finest and lightest among all animal fibers.

Our cashmere styles are made in Italy and crafted from 75% recycled cashmere. Most do not need to be washed that often and can be spot cleaned where needed and simply aired out.

Always check the care instructions on the care label first, on most garments only a delicate dry clean is possible. Some styles can be hand-washed cold, to avoid stretching the wool fibers, do not wring wool clothes and always dry them flat.

Do not hang your knit as this may cause stretching. Instead fold it and store it in your drawer.

Silk

Silk is a biodegradable, natural filament fibre that has a luxurious and more comfortable feel. It’s a renewable resource which is durable, anti-bacterial, and flame-retardant and it requires minimal chemicals, water, and energy when processed. It’s made by spinning silk worm cocoons into silk fibers, which are then used to produce the fabric. Always check the instructions on the care label first – sometimes dry cleaning is the only recommended option for the best care of a silk garment.

Leather

Keep leather away from humidity, heat and chemicals and protect it from rain and rough surfaces, which can scratch and damage it. Cleaning by a leather
specialist only.

Wool

There are many different types of wool, such as virgin wool, merino and mohair. Each type of wool has unique properties and we work with our long-term Italian supplier to source the best of each kind for our knitwear. Our virgin wool styles are made from responsibly sourced yarn and produced by our Italian supplier Ley Tricot, a small family business in Italy.

Viscose

Viscose is made of wood pulp, a regenerated fiber. It has good moisture absorption and has a soft feeling. Use a professional dry cleaner to take care of your viscose items. Our FW21 viscose fabric comes from the Italian mill Faisa.

For pre-spring we will work with only FSC certified viscose styles in our collections. FSC certified viscose is a natural cellulose fiber regenerated from sustainably managed agriculture.

Denim

Our denim styles are pre-washed. Except for the dark denim and off-white denim styles. The dark denim is a rinse wash, this washing will change the more you wear it.

Wash your denim as little as possible to maintain fit. Denim pieces do not need to be washed that often and can be spot cleaned where needed. When washing your jeans, wash them inside out, on a delicate machine wash on 30 degrees. Wash them with similar colors. Hang to dry, avoid tumble drying to preserve the fit and help avoid possible shrinkage or fabric warping. Ironing can be done on a medium temperature. A part of our denim collection is made of 25% recycled cotton.
