Founders Marieke and Maickel got married last September in Amsterdam, where the city became both backdrop and witness to the day. For the occasion, they designed and created their own wedding looks in the in-house atelier, each piece telling a personal story - an ode to passion, practice, and a lifelong intrigue for tailoring. This experience became the starting point for La Mariée.
“Being together for 25 years, life looks different than when you get married at a younger age. For us it was not only a celebration of love, but a celebration of 25 years of love, life and friendship…”
- Marieke Meulendijks
The capsule embraces sculptural silhouettes that remain fluid, balancing architectural precision with ease. Tailoring defines the foundation, softened, elongated, or subtly deconstructed, allowing each piece to move with the rhythm of the day. Rather than a singular look, the collection proposes a wardrobe. Pieces shift naturally from ceremony to evening.
La Mariée reflects a redefined approach to ceremony dressing - intimate, considered, and quietly confident.
