The Company

Founded in Amsterdam in 2021, Róhe is a high-end fashion brand selling globally, built on a philosophy of quiet confidence where craft, innovation, and an artistic community converge. The collections are defined by a rewritten approach to tailoring and elevated minimalism, often inspired by a dialogue between historical and contemporary influences.

As Róhe continues to grow internationally and diversify revenue streams through initiatives such as opening a retail store, we are seeking a Financial Controller. The primary responsibility of this role is to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of the P&L and balance sheet across all entities, acting as the right hand to the Head of Finance in delivering a timely, reliable monthly close.

You will prepare the month end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entry corrections, across our multiple legal entities, multiple stock locations (two warehouses and stock held at manufacturers), and multiple manufacturers and suppliers. This includes revenue reconciliations across wholesale and e-commerce channels, as well as intercompany reconciliations across entities. You will work closely with Buying and Production on supplier balances and cashflow forecasting, and be responsible for processing payroll in collaboration with our payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely processing across entities. In addition, you will contribute to strengthening internal controls and driving finance projects such as the transition to a new ERP and accounting system. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to improve reporting quality and provide the business with accurate, actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has a Big 4 background, ideally starting with 2-3 years in audit before moving into financial control, is detail-oriented and structured, and is comfortable taking full ownership of financial accuracy in a fast-growing, international company.

Main responsibilities

  • Prepare reconciliations across multiple legal entities and stock locations, including two warehouses and stock held at manufacturers, in close collaboration with Logistics, Production, and Buying.

  • Perform revenue reconciliations across wholesale and e-commerce channels, as well as intercompany reconciliations across entities.

  • Take ownership of the accuracy of the P&L for all entities, ensuring figures are complete, correct, and well-substantiated.

  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls, and drive continuous improvement of financial processes, leveraging the ERP system.

  • Contribute to finance projects, including the transition to a new ERP system and the implementation of a new accounting system.

  • Act as the right hand to the Head of Finance, supporting the monthly closing and consolidation process across entities.

Profile

  • 4+ years experience; Big 4 background preferred, ideally 2-3 years in audit followed by 1-2 years experience in a financial control role,

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or International Business,

  • Experience working in a multi-entity environment, including inventory/stock and intercompany reconciliations across multiple locations,

  • Experience with revenue reconciliations across multiple sales channels (wholesale, e-commerce),

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, month end close processes, and balance sheet reconciliation,

  • Experience contributing to finance system projects, such as ERP or accounting system implementations, is a plus,

  • Precise, structured, and highly accurate, with a strong sense of ownership over the numbers,
